If you decide to have your christening photographed professionally. I feel its important to take advantage of those special moments that can be captured pre and post the christening. The following is what I consider to be the best method of covering the special day.
Prior to church service, there will be a set of formal photographs. These should be if all goes well, consist of the following
Individual of child
Mother and child
Mother, Father and child
Whole family / Godparents
It is important to keep this simple, and fairy quiet and quick. This way, you are more relaxed and not worried about greeting guest etc. The little one is not so stressed with sometimes the overwhelming part of the day. This time is about you as a family.
During the service, I click quietly around without flash and capture the important memorable moments. I will view the church prior to shoot on the day, and if possible speak with the vicar prior to the service. Please understand during the Baptism timeframe, most churches do not allow photography to take place.
Once service has taken place, I will be happy to take some shots of the after celebrations at the church.
This would include
group shots of 6.
If you would like me to attend the venue for further photography shots , this will be additional charge of £100. There is also a option to book me to attend your home prior to the christening taking place. This is to capture those most intimate memories, of getting ready and attention to detail shots.
Once you decide to go ahead a book, we will have a consultation call or meeting to discuss your ideas and thoughts of the day.
I do photograph small intimate wedding ceremonies, for that personal touch. Please view Lifestyle albums to view 'Wedding in France'. Prices upon enquiry.
